| BUG: Arrisca does not always switch focus to the expected window |
| Applies To | |
| Arrisca Velocity for Excel | |
| Summary | |
| When used with Microsoft products, Arrisca sometimes leaves an unexpected window in focus, leaving the expected window active behind it. | |
| Symptoms | |
| You may be expecting to see a certain window either prompting for the next step or showing you a graph or report. Instead you are looking either at the screen you were looking at before you clicked, or you are looking at something else. - a graph in Excel - the Arrisca Einstein interview dialog - a screen of Arrisca Velocity or Relativity - a cell-pointing dialog in Excel, asking you to choose a cell or range | |
| Cause | |
| This problem is caused by inter-operability considerations of Microsoft products. | |
| Resolution | |
| Use the Windows task bar (usually a strip across the bottom of your screen) to select the window you need. This might be Arrisca Einstein, Arrisca PFS, Arrisca Velocity, Arrisca Relativity, Arrisca Multiverse, Microsoft Project or Microsoft Excel. Alternatively you can use the Alt-Tab key combination to dynamically switch between windows on the taskbar. | |
